Last Updated: July 11, 2026

1. Introduction and Acceptance

This website, www.lafamilylaws.com (the “Site”), is operated by L.A. Family Law Center (“the firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using any part of the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”), including the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on the Site. Your continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Attorney Advertising

This Site is a communication of L.A. Family Law Center and may be considered attorney advertising in some jurisdictions.

3. No Legal Advice; No Reliance

The Site provides general information only. It does not provide legal advice and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney who has reviewed your facts. Laws change and vary by jurisdiction. Site content may not be current, complete, or applicable to your circumstances. Do not act or refrain from acting in reliance on Site content without obtaining advice concerning your specific matter. Use of the Site and reliance on its content are at your own risk.

4. No Attorney-Client Relationship; Confidentiality

Viewing the Site, contacting the firm, or sending information through the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Such a relationship exists only after the firm completes any required conflict review and the firm and client enter into a written engagement agreement. Until then, information sent to the firm may not be protected by the attorney-client privilege or treated as confidential, and the firm may be able to represent a party whose interests are adverse to yours. Do not send confidential information before representation is confirmed in writing.

5. No Guarantee of Results

Descriptions of representative matters, experience, or prior results are provided only as examples. Every matter depends on its own facts, evidence, law, procedure, opposing parties, counsel, and decision-maker. Prior results do not guarantee or predict a similar result in any future matter.

6. Jurisdiction and Scope of Practice

Our attorneys are licensed in the jurisdictions identified in their individual profiles. The Site is not intended to solicit legal work in a jurisdiction where the firm or its attorneys are not authorized to practice or where such solicitation would violate applicable law or professional rules. Statements describing practice areas do not claim certification as a specialist unless expressly stated and legally permitted.

7. Intellectual Property and Copyright

The Site and its content, including text, translations, graphics, design, layout, photographs, logos, icons, and other materials, are owned by L.A. Family Law Center or used with permission and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may view and print a reasonable number of pages for personal, noncommercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, display, sell, license, create derivative works from, scrape, or commercially exploit Site content without the firm's prior written permission. No use of the firm's name, logo, or other branding is permitted without written authorization.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Site for an unlawful purpose; to violate law or the rights of others; to transmit malicious code; to attempt unauthorized access; to interfere with Site security or operation; to submit false or misleading information; to collect personal information about others; or to crawl, scrape, index, or extract Site content through automated means except as permitted by generally applicable search-engine protocols. We may restrict or terminate access for misuse.

9. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to services we do not control, including LawPay and other third-party websites. A link does not constitute endorsement. Third parties have their own terms, privacy practices, accessibility features, and security measures. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, accuracy, privacy, security, or transactions.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the firm disclaims all express or implied warranties concerning the Site, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, security, and noninfringement. We do not warrant that the Site will operate without interruption, delay, defect, error, or harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, L.A. Family Law Center and its attorneys, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to the Site, Site content, third-party links, or your use of or inability to use the Site. Where a limitation is not permitted, liability is limited to the maximum extent allowed by law.

12. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and disputes concerning the Site are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any action arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms must be brought in a state or federal court located in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Severability; No Waiver; Entire Agreement

If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement concerning use of the Site.
